JAMMU, July 30: BJP OBC Morcha organized a convention in Sunderbani – Kalakot constituency today.
Braham Jyot Satti, in charge BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir was main speaker in the programme.
Programme was organised by Som Nath Verma (district president OBC ) and huge number of OBC people attended the programme.
Neena Sharma (dist president Nowshara Sunderbani), Capt (retd) Ramesh Chand (senior leader BJP),  Kasturi Lal (dist vice president BJP), Krishan Lal (State Executive Member OBC Morcha), Nayav Singh (Mandal president BJP Sunderbani), Madan Paul (Mandal president Siot OBC) were among other party leaders present.
Speaking on the occasion Braham Jyot expressed satisfaction over the overwhelming support of OBC communities in recently held Parliamentary elections to the party and said OBC communities will unite and support BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections also.
He said OBC communities are arms and the heart of BJP. He said under the dynamic leadership of PM, Narendra Modi, BJP has taken various praise worthy decisions for welfare of OBCs. The OBCs are enjoying all Constitutional rights in Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
Maintaining that OBC communities are backbone of the nation and they are patriotic, he said they have made tremendous contribution in nation building.
He said that PM Modi also belongs to OBC community and Government is doing notable work for OBCs and few couple of years ago OBCs got effective reservation in educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir which was a great step by PM Modi.
He cautioned the community against the forces and vested interests which are spreading misinformation campaign and trying to create a wedge between community and BJP. He said the BJP is committed to Saba Saath and Sabka Vikas which is basic mantra of Modi Government.
