JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu and Kashmir BJP senior leader and former Minister, Sat Sharma, along with BJP secretary, Anju Dogra and another party leader, Ankush Gupta, held public darbar at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today and listened to the grievances of a large number of people from different areas of the UT.
Sat Sharma, while interacting with the people, said that the BJP is not only a political party to seek votes of people and forget but it is a mission to serve the people without taking any break. He said that the public darbar convened at party Headquarters is aimed at facilitating direct contact with the people, listen to their grievances and help them in mitigating the problems being faced by them.
He said that the party leaders are not confined to office only but they are reaching the people at their doorsteps for regular contact and help them, as and when needed.
Sat Sharma said that the BJP is committed to mitigate the sufferings of the people. The BJP Government under PM Narendra Modi, too is doing splendid work for the people and has achieved the distinction of being the most caring dispensation in the country.
Anju Dogra said that the BJP leaders are seen on ground in every nook and corner of the UT and extending help to the people in different forms.
Ankush Gupta said that the public darbar at party headquarter is serving as a big plate form for the people.
During the public darbar, a deputation from Gole Gujral raised the issue of the up gradation of drain as over flowing drain water enters into the Gurudwara and causes problems to the Sangat. Similarly, another deputation highlighted the plight of over 300 employees of JAKFED, who are not paid their retirement dues. A deputation of Khokha-Phadi vendors narrated that after being uprooted from Maheshpura Chowk, they were allotted small shops in BC Road Rehari Zone but were not rehabilitated till date.
A large number of more deputations and individuals from Purani Mandi, Kupwara, Sidhra, Trikuta Nagar, Channi Rama, Pargwal, Poonch, Janipur, Rehari, Krishan Nagar, Bishnah, had reached the party Headquarter with grievance related to scholarship issue, laying of water pipes, shifting of KVA transformer, up gradation of drain, fixing of crates on drain, electricity bill etc.
