JAMMU, Aug 30: From the day 1st, when Narendra Modi took up as the Prime Minister of India, the Union Government under him has been providing yeoman’s services to the masses at their doorsteps, besides launching mega development projects aimed at bringing progress and prosperity in the country, said former Minister and senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, expressed these views while attending a grievances camp here at party Headquarters today. He was accompanied by BJP SC Morcha Seh-Prabhari and JMC Councillor, Jeet Angral and in charge Maha Jana Sampark Abhiyaan, Department, Ankush Gupta.
Deputations from Old Janipiur, Roop Nagar, Saraswati Vihar, Bohri, Upper Lakshmi Nagar, R.S. Pura, Doda, Belicharana, Bhagwati Nagar, Vishal Nagar, Talab Tillo, Pouni, Muthi, Trikuta Nagar, Ware House, Kargil and other areas approached BJP headquarter to share their grievances and issues with the former Minister, for early disposal, who, took up them with the concerned departmental officials.
Issues like blacktopping of lane, repair of drain, repair of street lights, PM Awas Yojana, issuance of Rehri license, lifting of garbage, desiliting of deep drain, withheld salary payment etc were presented. In addition, issues like upgradation of transformer, water supply, laying of new pipes, retirement dues of employees, issuance of medical certificate, correction in name in caste certificate were some other issues put forth by the visiting individuals and deputations.
The former Minister redressed the maximum of the grievances on the spot. He took up issues with authorities during the camp who assured proper disposal of the remaining genuine issues in a time-bound manner.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Modi Government has done unprecedented and exemplary works to uplift the masses since he assumed the office Prime Minister has assumed the office in 2014. Especially, the Modi Government has taken all the necessary steps to address the earlier pending and unaddressed issues faced by the masses for the past many years.
From the day one of the Modi Government , it has been providing meaningful and valuable services to the society with a long term vision for the society, nation and the world. In Jammu & Kashmir, the remarkable progress has been visible with the launching of mega development projects with the promotion of progress and prosperity in the region along with the whole nation, said Sat Sharma.
