KISHTWAR, Dec 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its general secretary (Org.), Ashok Koul held a public meeting at Panchayat Bhutna Churyana in Kuntwara Mandal of district Kishtwar.
District president, Chuni Lal Shan, district Prabhari, Gajay Singh Rana, State secretary, Tariq Hussain Keen and other senior party leaders, accompanied Ashok Koul.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the gathering in connection with the ‘Booth Jan Samvad Maha Abhiyaan’, said that the party activists are attending these programmes at the booth levels across the UT. The main speakers in these programmes are highlighting the pro-development, pro-poor works of Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre. They are sharing the authentic information related to the mega projects of development in various sectors and also numerous welfare schemes which have been launched for the socio-economic empowerment of the poor and marginalized several.
This Government has initiated several initiatives for the benefits of women, farmers, youth, the border people, refugees etc, and which has brought changes in their lives in the UT.
Ashok Koul said that during the last about 10 years, the Narendra Modi Government has flooded J&K with many mega and prestigious projects of development which has also given a boost to the local economy and generated employment opportunities. He asked the party activists to remain in regular touch with the people in their areas and keep them educating about the good works of the Modi Government.
