Kick-starts renovation of pond worth Rs 2.5 cr

JAMMU, Oct 2: The BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi is going full throttle to achieve the mission of J&K’s allround development with no room left for any kind of prejudice.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta after the launch of work of renovation and face lifting of the pond here at Chhani Himmat with an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
Rajkumar Tarkhan, former Chairman JMC and corporator Ward No.51, Channi Himmat also accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister during the inauguration of the work.
Kavinder said unlike NC, PDP and Congress parties which seek mandate using divisive tactics, the BJP has taken the ‘development route’ to become popular among the masses. “It has set the goal of serving the society without distinction and discrimination of region, religion or linguistic contours. This is the reason that people of all hues and ethnic groups have started showing undaunted faith in the party which earnestly believe in Sabka Saath Sabka Vishwas”, he said, adding that people should give overwhelming support to BJP in the upcoming polls to ensure that party continues with the development spree with more confidence and added pace.
Kavinder said the momentum of development process in the UT of J&K after abrogation of Article 370 is unprecedented and the same is continuing unabated giving shape to aspirations of the people in an extraordinary manner”,. He added that no other party has will and guts to emulate the precedent set by the BJP in ensuring development making the party the first choice of all.
Later, he interacted with people of the area and listened to their issues related to civic amenities. He assured them that their issues will be redressed in a shortest possible time by taking the same with the authorities concerned.
