JAMMU, Mar 23: Highly eulogizing Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for achieving feat of India becoming largest supplier of COVID-19 vaccine to world besides adequately catering to domestic needs, senior BJP leader and former Minister, Priya Sethi said that China has spread lethal virus across the world but India came up with antidote-vaccine to battle the infection from front.
The former BJP Minister said this while interacting with the people after visiting vaccination centre established by the Government at SMGS Hospital Shalamar road here. She has gone to the health facility to take stock of facilities and also to convince people to get vaccines jabs as soon as possible to help Government in eliminating the corona virus from the Union Territory.
The senior BJP leader said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has earned such a respect that even the enemy nations are bound to praise India for its benevolent role in supplying vaccines to all the nations which asked for the same without any prejudice or pride.
Responding to some people showing reluctance in going for the vaccination, she said that the indigenous vaccine has been rollout only after the top scientists of the country were convinced of its safety and effectiveness. She urged people to beware of propaganda and rumours spread by the haters of PM Narendra Modi and go for the vaccine as soon as possible.
Earlier, she assessed the procedure being adopted for giving vaccine jabs to eligible beneficiaries. She said that it is historical accomplishment that India under the realms of PM Modi led government has attained a level that it is exporting the vaccines to number of nations after fulfilling the demand within the country. She asked the NGOs and voluntary organizations to impart awareness among masses to persuade them to go for the vaccination as ratio of deadly corona infection is inversely proportional to vaccination.
“More the vaccination less the disease spread”, she maintained adding that people who are dissuading others from taking vaccine are doing great disservice to nation and should mend their ways as this can cost dearly to them also.
