Modi Govt sabotaged interests of refugees: Balwan

JAMMU, Dec 16:  Intensifying his poll campaign Congress candidate from Marh constituency Balwan Singh has said that BJP Govt. at the Centre has sabotaged the interests of refugees and flood affected people of Jammu and Kashmir for vested interests.
Addressing series of public meetings at Akalpur and other villages of  Marh constituency, Balwan criticized Central Government for turning down the package of refugees and the proposal of State Government for the relief and rehabilitation of flood victims. He said that Congress has ensured equitable development and safeguarding the interests of Jammu region by the Coalition Government.
Mr Singh appealed to the people to give clear mandate to Congress Party in the State to carry forward the era of development in all three regions of the State.
He further said that BJP is spreading false propaganda and failed to come up to promises on any front, rather backtracking on various issues and promises adding that Congress is a force to reckon with in the country and three regions of the State and hoped that people would give clear mandate to Congress in the State to serve them and take care of  welfare of every section of the society.
While seeking support of the people, Balwan said that Congress is contesting elections to give voice to the people of Jammu region which were remained discriminated by Kashmir centric Government. He assured that unlike other political parties, Congress representatives would not remain as mute spectators.
