OBC Morcha holds State Executive meet

JAMMU, Mar 9: Nayab Singh Saini, national vice president, BJP OBC Morcha and MP while highlighting the major achievements of Modi Government in last nine years, said that the historical decisions are being taken by this regime for the welfare of the OBCs.
Addressing the State Executive meeting of the Morcha here at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar today, he said “Modi Government passed Bill to grant Constitutional Status to OBC Commission despite non-cooperation and stiff opposition of the Congress. Limit of creamy layer has been increased from 6 lakh to 8 lakh, provision has been made to give the benefit of reservation to the children of PSU employees, which was not being given earlier”, he added.
Nayab Singh said, “The process of issuing OBC certificates has been simplified. Earlier it was mandatory to get the verification done by two gazetted officers. Now an official and self-declared affidavit is enough. This has given relief to the common man. Further process to make it more transparent is going on,” he added.
The Working Committee meeting was held under the presidentship of Sunil Prajapati, State president BJP OBC Morcha JK UT.
Besides, Nayab Saini, Ravinder Raina president J&K BJP, Rashpal Verma national secretary BJP OBC Morcha, Gajinder Yadav national treasurer and Sanyojak Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyaan, Krishan Kumar Mantoo Prabhari OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir, Munish Sharma, All Morcha in charge, Braham Jyot Satti, State Executive Member were present in the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, in his address said that the OBC community is one of the major communities in Jammu and Kashmir. He said in coming months OBCs of Jammu Kashmir will get their due share which was denied by earlier governments top them. He said OBCs of Jammu and Kashmir will be given right in every field.
Gajinder Yadav explained about forthcoming national programme of OBC Morcha Ghar Ghar Chalo, Gain Gain Chalo Abhiyaan which is going to be held from 6th April to 14th April across India.
Sunil Prajapati in his presidential address said under the leadership of Narendra Modi India achieved so many milestones in developments, economic empowerment, and defence. He urged workers to gear up for forthcoming elections in the Jammu Kashmir UT.
Raj Kumar Tarkhan, general secretary, BJP OBC Morcha and Sajjad Hussain Kumhar, general secretary BJP OBC Morcha conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
