JAMMU, Feb 24: Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with former MLA, Ashwani Sharma, held a public darbar at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
BJP publicity secretary, Ajay Vaid and Health & Medical Cell convener, Puneet Mahajan assisted in the camp proceedings. Senior BJP leaders listened to the grievances of a large number of people hailing from different areas of Jammu & Kashmir. They had reached the party office in deputations and as individuals with their day-to-day problems and sought the help of the BJP leaders in mitigating the same.
Prominent among these deputations and individuals from Raipur, Muthi, Nowshera, Bishnah, Khour, Sanjay Nagar, Janipur Colony, Surinsar, Poonch, Raya Morh, Bajalta, Bhagwati Nagar, Kupwara, Jandrah, Shopian, Akhnoor, Raipur, Talab Tillo and other areas of Jammu & Kashmir. They narrated their problems related to road construction, PWD issues, state land issue, national highway issues, Ayushman card, shed for Datti Mandir, University issue, nallah repair, Shiv Shakti Kitchen Shed, construction of footbridge etc.
Jugal Kishore Sharma and Ashwani Sharma listening to the grievances, asserted that during the last ten years, Narendra Modi led Union Government took historic decisions for the public welfare. He said that the BJP is committed towards mitigating the problems of the people.
He further said that the Union Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken a number of historic initiatives after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, thus giving acceleration to the ongoing mega projects of development. He said that under the Modi Government, Jammu and Kashmir, has got a very fair deal in all matters at all levels.
Ashwani Sharma said that the BJP activists serve the general public for 365 days a year on the ground level. He said that being activists of a party with the mission of public service, the BJP cadre always remains at the ‘beck and call’ of the public.
Ajay Vaid said that in order to provide relief to the public, the party has deputed senior leaders to address the public issues on a daily basis.
Puneet Mahajan said that every effort is made to ensure that immediate relief is delivered to the people and deputations in public darbar.
