RAJOURI, Dec 26: With public centric policies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully transformed the lives of 140 crore people in nine and half years of his Government at the Centre, stated Sat Sharma, former Minister and former State President, BJP.
Sat Sharma was addressing a Booth Jana Samvad programme of Booth numbers 81, 82 & 84 located in Moradpora area of Rajouri Assembly constituency in Panchayat Muradpur.
Addressing the people who have received benefits from the public welfare schemes initiated by the Narendra Modi led Union Government, Sat Sharma stressed on the dedication of BJP in addressing the needs and the aspirations of common people.
“Direct transfer of subsidies reduced leakages and delays while bringing transparency and accountability to the process, thus saving the 85 paise that used to go missing from a rupee”, said Sat Sharma and added that earlier the poor remained poor and all the money meant to uplift their socio-economic structure increased the treasurers of few particular families.
Sat Sharma added that if the released money had gone to the targeted hands during earlier governments without any corruption, the rural, hilly and the far-flung areas had not suffered for the want of development funds. The Modi Government not only plugged those leakages, but also ensured that the poor and the needy from all sections of the society receive the full benefits of the public welfare schemes initiated by the Government, he said.
District Prabhari, Jugal Dogra said that the Modi Government had taken care of all those who had little access to the essential amenities of life even after the seven decades of freedom from Colonial rule.
District president, Dinesh Sharma spoke on the commitment of the BJP cadre in reaching up to the people in far-flung areas in order to sort out their issues.
Senior leader, Rajinder Gupta enumerated various development works initiated on behalf of the BJP Government in the area.
Youth speaker Harish Bharti enumerated the achievements of the Modi Government and stressed that PM Modi has dedicated his life in the service of nation and its people.
District general secretaries Ranjit Tara and Atam Gupta, Sarpanches Karan, Babu Ram and Shazia also spoke on the occasion.
