JAMMU, Feb 13: Prominent social personalities along with their supporters joined BJP in the presence of J&K BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Koul at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
BJP All Cells in charge, Rakesh Mahajan, All Cells co-in charge, Ved Sharma, SK Sharma (Retd. Commissioner), convenor BJP Professional Cell and Ashutosh Gupta, convenor BJP Transport Cell facilitated the joining.
Ashok Koul, while welcoming new entrants into the party fold said that the BJP under the strong and decisive leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has steered India on the development path. He said that Modi Government specified its policies for the welfare of every single member of the society while turning the nation into a superpower.
“Personalities representing every segment of the society have recognized the dedicated efforts of BJP and are coming forward to further strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi by joining the BJP”, said Ashok Koul.
Rakesh Mahajan expressed hope that the efforts by new entrants will further strengthen the organization in their fields and will expedite the development works in the area. He asked them to work on the principle of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas” while serving the party and the society.
Ved Sharma appreciated the efforts of Cell convenors in taking the mission of BJP forward by approaching the various segments of society and persuading them to join the ranks of BJP to further the mission.
New entrants, on the occasion, highlighted the achievements of Modi Government in their respective areas. They said that only BJP is the mainstream political party that talks about development of all irrespective of colour, caste, creed, region or religion.
