JAMMU, Oct 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh for a crucial meeting in New Delhi late tomorrow afternoon to discuss prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said Dr Singh will be leaving for New Delhi tomorrow morning, the last day of autumn session of the Legislature, and have detailed discussions with the Prime Minister on security situation, law and order, reconstruction package, inauguration of Baglihar Phase-II and several other issues in the State.
Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing some controversies during the past few days.
Sources said Dr Singh, who holds charges of the Power Development Department might extend an invitation to the Prime Minister for inauguration of Baglihar Phase-II.
