JAMMU, Jan 8: Giving all credit to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for transforming the life of artisans, BJP general secretary J&K and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta said that PM Vishwakarma Yojna is changing the fate of the talented people and this scheme is a matter of honour for people involved in 18 trades. Gupta highlighted the programme’s significance in honouring and providing financial benefits to individuals engaged in different traditional trades.
Addressing a Registration cum Awareness Camp at Kashmiri Pandit colony, Jagti Nagrota Vibodh highlighted the sense of pride and recognition among artisans due to the launch of PM Vishwakarma Yojna, who were previously overlooked by past Governments, and credited PM Modi’s visionary idea for this positive shift. He said that the initiative seeks to provide end-to-end support, training, and financial incentives to the artisans.
He also described Prime Minister’s dynamic leadership, as a beacon of hope for the dreams and aspirations of millions.
Vibodh said the scheme is a testament to the party’s dedication to empowering individuals across diverse trades, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and progress. “Narendra Modi, as Prime Minister, has emerged as a symbol embodying progress, trust, and cultural resurgence. His leadership, rooted in the fundamental principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwaas, and Sabka Prayas,’ not only raised India’s global influence but also established him as a worldwide icon” he said.
Speaking at the event, BJP’s OBC Morcha convenor and PMVY incharge, Sunil Prajapati, outlined the scheme’s benefits, including recognition, training, toolkits, and enterprise development loans for artisans.
BJP district president of Kashmiri Displaced District, Chand Bhat, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister, Modi for reserving two seats for nominated members in the Assembly for displaced people. Bhat also acknowledged the positive impact of PMVY on changing the fate of artisans.
The event was attended by various BJP officials, including HK Razdan, district general secretary, Sweety Koul, vice president, Vimal Raina, vice president, Parey Lal, Kuldeep Razdan, , Dolly Raina, president Mahila Morcha, Priya Bhat, and Jai Kishori, vice presidents Mahila Morcha, and Rita.
