Modi transformed J&K from terrorism capital to tourism capital: Sukhnandan

JAMMU, Apr 30: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has transformed Jammu and Kashmir from terrorism capital to tourism capital of the country, senior BJP leader and former Minister Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar on Monday said.
“Jammu and Kashmir was once infamous as the terrorism capital, but it is now known as the tourism capital due to the policies of Prime Minister Modi,” Sukhnandan said.
The former Minister said there is all round development in Jammu and Kashmir now. “There is industrial growth and the youth are getting jobs, corruption has ended. The people want to see, meet and listen to the PM after he broke the shackles of Article 370’’.
Sukhnandan said the people of Jammu and Kashmir, like the rest of the countrymen, have “tremendous love for the PM and have unshakeable trust in him”.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir has taken a huge leap towards development under Prime Minister, Modi’s leadership.
“Development is powered by technology and innovation. India has created vibrant and fastest-growing innovation ecosystems in the world and has helped create several thousands of startups and over 100 unicorns attracting huge investment. I urge entrepreneurs to invest in Jammu and Kashmir also’’, Sukhnandan said.
He also discussed the progressive industrial policy of Jammu and Kashmir made under the guidance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and LG Manoj Sinha and highlighted the immense potential and opportunities in different sectors to start industrial and business ventures that will also create job opportunities for the youths.
“Jammu Kashmir has the potential to emerge as a powerhouse of prosperity. It should be our shared goal to tap immense resources and talents to ensure a better life for all our citizens,” Ch Sukhnandan said.
