Modi a unifying force: Dr Jitendra

JAMMU, Apr 18: Union Minister of State in PMO and Incharge North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that Prime Minister, Narendra  Modi’s name has such a magic that it has emerged as a unifying force among the different regions and areas.
Talking to reporters here this afternoon soon after his arrival from Union Capital, Dr Jitendra Singh said that notwithstanding everything else, Modi’s name is a unifying force across the communities and regions.
Dr Singh, who represents Kathua-Doda Parliamentary Constituency, is visiting Mata Vaishno Devi University tomorrow to receive the Prime Minister there.
The Union Minister said he feels a sense of pride that Prime Minister is visiting the constituency which is represented by him to dedicate the Multi Specialty Hospital of such a huge magnitude costing Rs 300 crore to nation tomorrow.
He said Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super-specialty Hospital is a joint venture of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Narayana Hrudyalaya Ltd.
On Kupwara violence, Dr Singh said that State Government was capable of handling the situation and they have already taken various steps in this direction.
On Israt Jehan, a terrorist who was killed in police encounter in Gujarat, Dr Jitendra Singh said that it vindicated the BJP stand and stressed that the probe should lead to logical conclusion. There was no interference in the working of agencies probing the matter as has been done by previous UPA Government at Centre. The people of India want that the trust must come out, he added.
