Modi will take path breaking decisions in 3rd term: Manhas

JAMMU, Apr 3:   Former Member-Parliament and ex State president, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir, Shamsher Singh Manhas today campaigned for party candidate, Jugal Kishore Sharma at Khour in Chhamb Assembly constituency.
While interacting with the residents of the area Manhas said that the country has seen unprecedented development during the past ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He said that the country will see path breaking decisions in Modi 3.0 which the people of the country haven’t dreamt of.
Manhas said that during the last 10 years Jammu and Kashmir has seen a new dawn of development and prosperity. Establishment of two AIIMS, IIT and IIM has placed Jammu & Kashmir at par with other states. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has revolutionised the Health Sector immensely by opening new medical colleges and improving the infrastructure, he added.
Manhas said under hydro power generation, MoU’s were signed for development of five Mega projects with an investment of Rs 34,882 crore to flow in J&K. Manhas said during the last three years under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), 6912 km road length was constructed in Jammu & Kashmir.
While lambasting Congress, Manhas said that the Congress misrule had slowed down the pace of country and its Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who took the charge of the country in 2014 has placed India at the Global level. India’s GDP has improved and is heading towards five trillion economy in the coming years.
Narinder Singh Bhau, State Executive Member said that under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s leadership J&K has moved from terrorism torn Sate to Tourism State. The influx of tourists in J&K has opened the gateway of income for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. Those who were present on the occasion were GS Chib, Deepak Singh, Subash Singh and Roomi Khajuria.
