Modi’s Ayushman Bharat brought revolution: Sethi

JAMMU, Feb 12:, Vice president BJP Yudhvir Sethi today said that Central Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi after a thorough and painstaking exercise has crafted Bharat Ayushman Scheme to bail out poor and needy population from the out of the pocket medical expenses which earlier used to hit them hard leading to life full of miseries.
He was speaking after inaugurating Ayushman Bharat registration camp organized by Rajinder Sikka, senior BJP leader and president Sain Samaj in Jammu East constituency. President BJP East Mandal, Parveen Kerni was also present.
Sethi said that after about 70 years of independence the country has witnessed such a medical revolution which will prove out to be boon for nearly 80 crore people. He said that Ayushman Bharat, a flagship scheme of Government of India, was launched as recommended by the National Health Policy 2017, to achieve the vision of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). “This initiative has been designed to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its underlining commitment, which is to leave no one behind”, Sethi said, adding that BJP Government led by PM Modi has achieved this feat due to its policies which are equitable and non-discriminatory because this scheme along with many others are meant for all the people of the country without any prejudice or partition.
He said it is good that people in Kashmir have also joined BJP in large numbers and more and more citizens are coming to party fold looking into the people-centric and fair policies of the Government run by PM Modi.
Among those who were present include Vipan Sharma, Suresh Bharti, Ved Padha, Ravinder Thakur, Subash Sangra, Ajesh Sharma, Sunil Kumar (Sunny), Ram Krishan Bakshi, Subash Dogra and Vinay Sharma.
