JAMMU, Jan 1: BJP today asserted that Modi Government took many drastic steps for the upliftment of poor and deprived sections of the society, public centric welfare policies and his good governance Mantra have been instrumental in winning the hearts of people from every region and religion.
These views were expressed by BJP JK UT president, Ravinder Raina and party general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul during two separate joining programmes at party Headquarters here, today in which people and political activists from different parts of Jammu region joined the BJP.
Poor and deprived sections have been truly uplifted under Modi Government, stated Ravinder Raina, while taking new entrants from NC, Congress and PDP from Gujjar and Bakkerwal community into the party fold.
J&K BJP ST Morcha president, Choudhary Roshan Hussain, Prabhari Choudhary Haroon and general secretary, Mukhtar Ahmed Phambra were also present.
Choudhary Gulzar from NC, Mohabbat Ali from Congress and Hyder Ali from PDP were amongst the prominent to join on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina said that the people of Jammu Kashmir feel satisfied with the policies of the BJP Government, so they are joining the party in impressive numbers. He said that the BJP Government led by Narendra Modi is concerned for the welfare of the needy and neglected sections and this Government has worked for their welfare.
Roshan Choudhary and Haroon Choudhary said that the whole of the ST community has developed full faith in the policies of the BJP Government.
In another function led by party general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul dozens of prominent persons from Ramban including retired Government officials and political workers from parties including NC, Congress etc joined BJP.
Ashok Koul, accompanied by Rajeev Charak, senior party leader & Prabhari Jammu district, Suresh Sharma, DDC Akhnoor, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, J&K BJP Media in charge, Sandeep Singh, Mandal president Sangaldan, Mushtaq Inqlabi, National secretary ST Morcha, Haji Latif, senior leader welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.
New entrants hailed from the Sumber Panchayats A & B of district Ramban, whose joining was facilitated by Rajeev Charak.
Ashok Koul, while welcoming the new entrants, said that public centric welfare policies and good governance provided by Narendra Modi have been instrumental in winning the hearts of people from every region and every religion. He said that with the dedicated work to meet the needs of the people, the party has gained the appreciation and support of masses as well as prominent social and political leaders, which speaks of the wider acceptability of development policies of BJP.
Ashok Koul further said that the Modi Government delivered justice to every person residing in Jammu & Kashmir. He said people after witnessing the works of the Modi Government, people have developed love and faith for the BJP’s policies and works. Sandeep Singh conducted proceedings
