JAMMU, Dec 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government’s initiatives and policies to uplift the socio-economic status of communities is getting overwhelming response of people especially those belonging to OBC and downtrodden class, highlighted former Minister, Sat Sharma while interacting with people during PM Vishwakarma Yojana Awareness and Registration Camp organized by party’s Rehari-Bakshi Nagar Mandal, here, today.
Hundreds of people especially women and youth participated in the function and enrolled their names and particulars in the Registration Camp.
Accompanied by BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, BJP, OBC Morcha president, Sunil Prajapati, Mandal president, Atul Bakshi, OBC Morcha Prabhari, Brahamjyot Satti, Morcha secretary, Kewal Verma, former Minister and senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma, lambasted previous years rule of Congress and its ally parties for using downtrodden communities as its vote bank and did nothing for their welfare.
Sat Sharma said however, during ten years of BJP’s rule, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has initiated so many policies and schemes to uplift the socio-economic status of the communities and the segments that always neglected during Congress rule. While highlighting the benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, he said that the scheme is designed to uplift traditional artisans and craftspeople engaged in various occupations like blacksmith, pottery, carpentry, and sculpting with an aim on preserving cultural heritage and integrating them into formal economy and global value chain.
While speaking on the occasion, BJP leader Zorawar Singh Jamwal stressed the people especially women folk and youth to take maximum benefit of schemes offered by Narendra Modi led Government at Centre and become self-dependent thereby helping their families as well to live a better life.
“While taking benefits of such schemes you will not just improve your economic condition but will also carry forward ages old art and skills to next generation,” said Zorawar Singh Jamwal and urged the party workers to reach out to each and every such household that needs awareness of such benefits and ensure no one is left out from such a golden opportunity.
OBC Morcha president, Sunil Prajapati said that by providing artisans with enhanced access to resources, training and market exposure, the scheme promises to breathe new life into diverse tapestry of Indian craftsmanship, ensuring sustainable livelihoods and preserving cultural legacies for future generations.
