JAMMU, Jan 7: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet today approved empanelment of 20 IPS officers of 1989 batch for holding the rank of Additional Director General (ADG) and ADG Equivalent at the Centre.
Lalat Indu Mohanty, an IPS officer of Jammu and Kashmir has also been empanelled as ADG. He figured at Serial No. 4 in the list of 20 officers.
Mohanti had held various important assignments in Jammu and Kashmir and outside. Presently, he is on Central deputation.
