KISHTWAR, June 12: Mohammad Rafi Academy, Mumbai, framed by the family members and friends on the name of legendary singer of India film industry, donated books worth more than Rs 2 lakh to Islamia Fareediya Educational and Research Institute (IFERI), here.
The books were handed over by Raashid Zaffar Doolwal, Trustee of Mohammad Rafi Academy, Mumbai, along with Jaffer Hussain Sheikh, Suheel Nabi Trak and Dr Yasser Aziz to school administration during morning assembly.
While speaking, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, MLA Kishtwar, appreciated trustee of the Academy and expected that the academy will come forward with more help in future.
He said that the books will help the students in long way to gain and add knowledge and advised the students to take advantage of the books provided by the academy.
Abdul Salam Butt, on behalf of the institution expressed gratitude to the Mohammad Rafi Academy for its good will gesture.
