KATRA, Sept 1: The monthly meeting of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum, Katra was held under the chairmanship of its president Shiv Kumar Sharma, which was attended by all the members of the forum where the problems being faced by senior citizens of locality were discussed in details.
In a unanimous decision it has been stressed by all the participants to knock the doors of State Government and local bodies’ authorities attracting their attention towards poor civic condition of Katra town where sanitation drive is totally paralyzed.
Shiv Kumar Sharma also requested Deputy Commissioner Reasi to spare to some valuable moments from his busy schedule by spot visiting of deserted lanes of Katra town with worse sanitation condition, heap of garbage dumped at Katra Reasi road, proper metering of all auto Rikshaws, proper track for mules entering Katra town, proper display of price-lists by all shopkeepers & strict compliance of polythene restrictions in holy town.
