Moong, its dal rise on retailers demand

NEW DELHI, Aug 9:  Moong and its dal prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today on the back of pick up in demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, other pulses continued to move in a tight range and settled at previous levels.
Marketmen said pick up in demand from retailers amid lower arrivals from producing regions mainly pushed up moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,150-7,150 and Rs 7,100-7,600, while its dal dhoya local and best quality traded higher by same margin to Rs 7,100-7,400 and Rs 7,900-8,000 per quintal respectively.

Masoor small 5,200-5,450, bold 5,200-5,550, Dal Masoor local 6,100-6,200, best quality 6,200-6,300, Malka local 6,000-6,300, best 6,200-6,300, Moth 5,000-5,300, Arhar 4,500-4,700, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,100.
