Moral education vital for positive social change: Mir

POONCH, Oct 27: Deputy Chairman Legislative Council, Jahangir Hussain Mir today emphasized on  inculcating moral values in the students in the schools to bring about a perceptible positive social change and curb the prevailing social evils.
While interacting with the students and teachers at Dingla, the Deputy Chairman said that value education is very important step for countering corruption and other social evils prevailing in the society.
The Deputy Chairman said that value education should become an integral part of school curriculum, adding that, moral education is necessary for the overall personality development of a student.
He also assured that books, uniforms and other sort of assistance will be provided to the underprivileged students who face difficulties in studies because of their economic conditions.
DySP Hqtr Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, Ch. Abdul Ghani, Khalid Mir and Bashir Bajran were also present on the occasion.
