Morchas have significant role to counter oppn propaganda: Priya

JAMMU, Sept 12: Priya Sethi, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader former Minister, Prabhari BJP Social Media has asserted that Morchas of the party have a very significant role to play in maintaining the strength and status of the organization achieved especially during the past nine years of BJP governance at the Centre.
While addressing a meeting of Morcha in-charges of Jammu North district, Kathua and Samba here at Jammu Division, Priya Sethi said that the Morchas have been playing a vital role in the BJP organization and its role has assumed greater significance in today’s scenario when the opposition parties under I.N.D.I.A Alliance are out to mislead the people on the unprecedented achievements of the BJP Government. It is the responsibility of the Morcha activists to counter such moves of opposition parties with full might under a well planned strategy.
The senior BJP leader said that in this regard the Morcha activists must equip themselves with full-fledged knowledge about the working of party its policies and programmes and accordingly formulate the strategies in the respective areas giving due credence to the local factors too. She said that opposition parties after feeling desperate on seeing no hope of returning to power under the banner of INDIA Alliance have been resorting to the cheap practices which were never witnessed in the Indian democracy till date.
She said therefore it becomes inevitable for the Morcha activists to remain vigilant and be present among the people at the grass roots level to counter the misdeeds of disgruntled opposition.
Ankit Gupta, Social Media in charge, J&K, in his address said that in the present day, social media has the highest outreach and allows the users in a robust democracy to exchanging their ideas, thoughts and opinions through multiple platforms. As such any information transmitted through social media channels reaches a significant percentage of the people that influences them.
