KATHUA, Nov 6: A woman was killed and her minor daughter was seriously injured in a road accident here this evening. The deceased was identified as Usha, wife of Krishna resident of Chattisgarh and her injured minor daughter Anshuka. She was referred to GMC Jammu in serious condition. The accident took place at Capt Sunil Chowk road when the deceased Usha working as labourer was travelling in tractor trolley for her routine work.
The tractor jumped on a speed breaker and woman and her daughter fell down from tractor and it crossed over both mother and daughter. Both the injured were shifted to GMC Kathua. But woman succumbed to her injuries. Later the daughter was shifted to GMC Jammu. Kathua police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation into the matter.
