JAMMU, Feb 12: Prominent senior citizen, Nawab Bibi, 92, wife of late Mohd. Din Khatana and mother of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Ghulam Ali Khatana passed away last night after a brief illness.
She is survived by five sons and four daughters of which the Member of Parliament (MP), Ghulam Ali Khatana is the youngest.
Till last she used to cook for her family and her MP son was living with her.
She was laid to rest at Bhatindi graveyard this evening and many political, social and religious leaders attended her last rites.
The demise of Nawab Bibi was widely condoled and her services to the society were remembered.
