DODA, June 14: A woman and her son were killed, while her daughter received injuries when their house collapsed here today.
As per police sources, a house collapsed here in which three persons of a family got buried under the debris.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and evacuated the trio and shifted them to district hospital, where doctors declared a lady and her son as brought dead.
The deceased have been identified as Kanta Devi, wife of Anil Kumar and her son Nitish Kumar (2). The injured namely three year old Geetanjali, daughter of Anil Kumar was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
The house collapsed due to the effect of the earthquake, which struck the district yesterday.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, DC Doda Mubarak Singh visited the hospital and the site. He assured exgratia to the family of deceased.
