REASI, Sept 18: A tragic road accident claimed lives of a mother and her 20-year old son while husband and teenage daughter of the deceased woman were critically injured in the mishap that took place when a car carrying the family rolled down near Shila Shajroo in Mahore, here this morning.

Both mother and her son reportedly died on the spot while daughter of the deceased woman and her husband, who is a Government teacher by profession, were undergoing treatment in Mahore hospital.
The accident took place when the Alto car, bearing registration number JK02AB- 2403 was on way from Jamaslan to Mahore and rolled down about 200 meters deep in a gorge near Shila Shajroo resulting into on the spot death of two persons and critical injuries to two others.
The deceased were identified as Sakeena Begum (42), wife of Abdul Majid, resident of Jamaslan and her son Imityaz Ahmed (20).
Abdul Majid (47), son of Mohd Ramzan, resident of Jamaslan Mahore, who is a Government teacher by profession, and his daughter Nazmeen Kousar (15), sustained serious injuries in the accident and both of them were shifted to CHC Mahore for treatment.
