Srinagar, Feb 13: Two members of a family were today found dead in Soaf Shali village of Kokarnag of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that a mother and her son were found dead at their home today apparently due to suffocation.
Those deceased have been identified as Ishrat Jan, 23, wife of Shabir Ahmad and her son Musaib aged 2.
They were rushed to nearby SDH Kokernag but were declared brought dead by the doctors.
The local police said that they are ascertaining the cause of death while maintaining that both appear to have died due to suffocation.
