NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji Chopra has said that the motherhood has made her more “calmer, patient and more forgiving”.
On the occasion of her and filmmaker-husband Aditya Chopra’s daughter Adira’s birthday yesterday, Rani shared the first image of her .
Incidentally, Adira’s first birthday also marks the release of Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’ starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.
Along with the photograph, where Rani is seen posing with her daughter who is asleep, also shared a note which mentioned that motherhood has made me “calmer, patient and more forgiving”.
Rani said that her life has changed for the better after Adira’s birth.
She also said that she will always encourage Adira to follow her heart. “It happened overnight one day suddenly I realised I have changed, again for the better I guess” Rani said.
”I love my baby Adira Can’t live or breathe without her..My life has changed but for the better But having a baby is so scary because you suddenly stop living for yourself, you live for your child as she has given birth to you?a mother.. I can’t sleep at night, I can’t get sleep in the day.
I often think about all the zillion mothers, who have given birth. Do they all go through the same anxiety,” Rani posted.
“I am eternally grateful to the Almighty to have given me this blessing in form of Adira! I don’t know if anyone understands me at this point of my life?But I am going with the flow. I let anyone and everyone say things to me without reacting sometimes reacting also,” the note read.
