JAMMU, Nov 12: Motivational book ‘The Golden Vision’ written by international chess player, Meenal Gupta was today released here.
A handout stated that the book is beneficial for all particularly teenagers and youth.
Meenal Gupta, 18, is a Commonwealth Gold medal winner in chess besides she is only woman player of J&K to receive SAI award besides State award, Sher-e-Kashmir award, Rangil Singh award etc.
The book ‘The Golden Vision’ is edited by Atul Kumar Gupta, president All J&K Chess Association.
Meenal is 1st semester student of GCW Parade who luckily got chance to visit many countries and got lot of exposure and success in the field of sports after lot of initial struggle.
She thought it necessary to pen down and share her ideas and thoughts with the youth, in particular, through a book which took her two years to write it.
Various aspects that really matter in crucial decision making are touched in her book which will prove a torch bearer for youth in particular while taking crucial decisions which matter most in life.
Talking to reporters Meenal said through her book she gave golden vision to the readers.
“Vision is the root through which originates hope, confidence and as such, if vision is right, surely one may find light even in darkest tunnels of struggle,” she maintained.
Meenal claimed that the book will surely prove to be a game and life changer for the youth and it presents bold, practical and modern vision to the readers.
Prof. (Dr.) Ranjodh Singh Jamwal, MAM College; Dr. A.S Bhatia, GMC Jammu; Senior Prosecution Officer, Raj Kumar; Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, vice president Rajput Sabha J&K and others were also present on the occasion.
The handout also stated that the book will be available on leading stores soon.
