SRINAGAR, Nov 16: An Educational/Motivational tour for children of South Kashmir organized by 50 Rashtriya Rifles culminated at Shar-e-Shali.
During the tour the children visited places of historical importance like Red Fort, Taj Mahal and Sikander Fort at Agra. The children put up a colourful display of cultural programme which included traditional folk songs and narrated their experiences from the tour.
The children also got an opportunity to visit Fatehpur Sikri, Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal and Jantar Mantar at Jaipur. In Ajmer, they visited Pushkar Mandir, Pushkar Lake and Dargah Sharif.
The tour helped the children in inculcating the spirit of camaraderie and brotherhood and gave them an insight into the cultural diversity and historical background of the country.
