POONCH, Aug 6: Authorities sealed an outlet of motorcycles for allegedly operating under the Id of District Anantnag, while many other vehicle outlets were also found running business without obtaining trade licenses in Poonch.
Officials said that, a surprise inspection of different business outlets dealing with vehicles was carried yesterday by Motor Vehicle Department Poonch along with executive magistrates during which it was found that some of the outlets were running the business without obtaining a trade license from the registering authority of the district.
The vehicles were being sold on trade license issued from Jammu and other districts of the UT.
During inspection it was also found that these outlets were operating user Ids of their computers operating in other districts.
ARTO Poonch, Basharat Mehmood said that one outlet dealing with motorcycles of a particular brand was sealed as it was operating the Id of District Anantnag.
