JAMMU, May 22: A motorcyclist, without helmet, was injured critically after his two wheeler slipped near Rehari Chowk (Balvinder Chowk) late last night.
Identified as Sonu Kumar, 45, the accident victim was lying on the road in a pool of blood and was unconscious when all of a sudden a Police party from Police Station Pacca Danga passed from the spot and noticed him.
The cops led by SHO Pacca Danga, Inspector Rakesh Singh Jamwal and assisted by IC PP Rehari, Muzaffar Shah shifted the injured to GMC Jammu.
The accident victim had suffered head injury and was critical till last reports.
His motorcycle was bearing registration number JK20B-2549 and from his documents Police traced his address and he was to be from Reasi district.
Police has registered a case in this regard under Sections 279, 337 IPC at Police Station Pacca Danga and started investigation.
