UDHAMPUR, June 26: A motorcyclist died and his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their bike skidded off the road at Kagote while in a separate road mishap, another motorcyclist was injured at Dhar road Udhampur, here today.
Reports said a motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their bike skidded off the road at Kagote – Ramnagar road. The deceased was identified as Rinku Sharma, son of Prem Nath of village Dheeran in Ramnagar. He reportedly died on the spot.
The injured, identified as Sonu, son of Sundar Lal of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), presently putting up at Jammu, was admitted to Ramnagar Hospital.
In a similar accident, another Motorcycle skidded off the road at Dhar road Udhampur resulting into the injuries to rider Arjun Singh (22), son of Tara Singh of Sailan Talab Udhampur. He was taken to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu Hospital.
