RAMBAN, Mar 21: A motorcyclist was killed in accident near Magerkot area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo Police Station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Mohammad Maqbool (34), son of Khadim Hussain, a resident of Nagrota Jammu was seriously injured, when his motorcycle bearing registration number JK06-5995 slipped near Magerkot.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC) and was later referred to District Hospital Ramban, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 14/18 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Ramsoo Police Station and investigation started.
