UDHAMPUR, June 8:
A motorcyclist died after his bike was hit by a truck at near Tawi Bridge on Ramnagar road, here this evening.
The deceased was identified as Baldev Kumar (60), son of Ganga Ram of village Basan in Udhampur. He was critically injured when a truck bearing registration number JK02-1162, hit his motorcycle JK14C-8219. Some locals and Police shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Truck driver fled the spot after the accident while Police has registered a formal case in this regard.
