UDHAMPUR, Feb 1: A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their motorcycle met with an accident after skidding off the road at Jandrore in Ramnagar.
The deceased has been identified as Sukvinder Singh, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Chowki Ramnagar while the injured, identified as Sanjay Kumar son of Naseeb Chand of Rassian, tehsil Ramnagar, was admitted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar.
The accident took place last evening when the motorcycle, bearing Registration number JK14J-2484, skidded off the road at Jandrore. Locals shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred Sukvinder Singh to District Hospital Udhampur. During treatment, he succumbed to his injuries this morning.
