UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: A motorcyclist was critically injured when his bike skidded off the road near Slathia Chowk, Udhampur, here today.
The injured, identified as Ritak son of Sanjay Sharma of Slathia Chowk, was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Meanwhile, a labourer was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his rented house in Garnai Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Davbal (26) son of Ganpat of Bu Mandi, district Champ Chhattisgarh. He was presently residing at Garnai in Udhampur. Police has registered a case for ascertaining cause of death and further investigations.
