SAMBA, Oct 9: One person died while a truck driver and a motorcyclist were injured in three separate road accidents in Samba district today.
According to police a motorcyclist died after his two wheeler was hit by an unknown vehicle at Vijaypur this evening.
He was identified as Vishal Chuhan, 23, S/o Om Parkash Chuhan of Jagpur Vijaypur. The dead body was shifted to emergency hospital Vijaypur for postmortem.
The Vijaypur Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
Police said in another incident a truck driver identified as Hilal Ahmed Bhat, S/o Ghulam Nabi Bhat of Pulwama Kashmir was injured after his truck bearing registration number JK 13 A-3933 rolled down near Nud today.
He was first taken to District Hospital Samba where from doctors referred him to GMC for specialized treatment.
In another incident a motorcyclist identified as Sandeep Singh S/o Prem Singh of Panthi Samba was injured after the two-wheeler skidded off road near gas agency Samba. He was taken to DH Samba for treatment.
