JAMMU, Feb 10: A motor cyclist was killed after his bike skidded of the road at Poonch today. He has been identified as Zubir Hussian, 26, S/o Muneer Hussian of Bhanich, Poonch.
He died on spot and his body was taken to District Hospital Kathua by police for postmortem and after conducting the autopsy it was handed over to family members for last rites. A FIR under No 19/2018, U/S 279/304 was registered in PS Poonch by the police.
Meanwhile, six passengers were injured after a matador bearing registration number JK02AF/8760 which was on way to Hiranagar at Pathwal on Hiranagar –Dayalachak road and a car bearing registration number JK02AF/8760 collided. The matador rolled down and six passengers were injured.
All passengers except one were admitted in SDH Hiranagar while one seriously injured Jatin Sharma was referred to GMC Jammu.
The Hiranagar Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
