REASI, Jan 15: An elderly motorcyclist was knocked to death by a passenger bus at Bhambla on Jammu – Poonch National Highway, here today.
The deceased was identified as Kasturi Lal, age around 63 years, son of Badri Nath, resident of Bhagot Jagir, tehsil Pouni, district Reasi. He reportedly died on the spot when his bike (JK20 3279) collided with bus (JK02AX- 4895).
Later, the dead body was shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Pouni for postmortem and other legal formalities. Police has registered the case and arrested driver of the bus.
