UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: A motorcyclist died when his bike was hit by a Truck near Dhemma in Majalta, here today.
The deceased has been identified as Kirtan Kumar (28), son of Sukham Chand, resident of Pathwar in Majalta. The accident took place near Dhemma when the motorcycle, bearing Registration number JK14 C- 5932 was hit by a Truck JK08E -5219.
The bike rider reportedly died on the spot while the Truck driver was arrested. The police after completion of all the legal formalities and post-mortem, handed over the body to family members. A case has been registered in this connection at Police Station Majalta.
