Motton castigates BJP

R S PURA, Dec 16: National Conference candidate for R S Pura, Romesh Motton today castigated BJP for lacking any agenda and seeking votes by inciting passions and dividing the society.
Addressing an election meeting at Chohala Salehar, Mr Motton said those seeking votes on a particular name were in fact exposing their own worth and standing among the people.
He questioned the tall claims of the BJP and said the party has failed in delivering even after seven months of its Government in New Delhi. He said the prices were raising fast and the gap between rich and poor widening on alarming scale. “The dream of Ache Din has fractured since and the Government in New Delhi was now resorting to political gimmickry.” “This may work somewhere but not in Jammu and Kashmir where the people are wise enough to read between the lines”, Mr Motton added.
He also took PDP and Congress head on for their opportunistic politics, saying they stand exposed for the deception and double standards. He said lust for power has driven these parties to stoop lowest depths. “However, the people will give them a befitting lesson through their power of vote”, he added.
