JAMMU, Mar 2: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu and Samsung India Electronics Private Limited today at College premises.
Samsung India as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) will be providing medical devices to the Government Medical College, Jammu. This includes four state of the art Ultrasound machines and Mobile Digital Radiography Machine.
This will benefit the patients and the general public through Samsung Smart Health Care Programme for economically poor patients. This will also help the Department of Radio Diagnosis, GMC Jammu in catering the huge work load effectively.
Principal, GMC Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina, HoD Radio Diagnosis Dr Narinder Sharma, senior faculty member, Dr Rajesh Sharma and senior officials of Samsung India Electronics Private Limited were present on the occasion.
