UDHAMPUR, May 9: Arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of 3-day Shiv Parvati Annual Mela. Moungri commencing from May 14 were discussed at a meeting of district officers and prominent citizens under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Angrez Singh Rana here today.
ADC stressed for proper cleanliness at the mela site during the mela days. For the purpose, Mr. Rana gave instructions to the concerned officers to create maximum awareness regarding the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan during the mela days.
Threadbare discussion was held on various arrangements related to smooth conduct of mela like maintenance of road, security, sanitation, health care, transport, traffic, drinking water and power supply, checking of rates, ration supply, cultural programme and sports etc.
ADC directed the officers to ensure that all arrangements pertaining to their respective departments are made well in advance and in an effective manner.
Tehsildar, Moungri was nominated as the Mela Officer of Shiv Parvati Annual Mela, Moungri.
