MP chairs BJP workers meet at Akhnoor

JAMMU, Mar 7: BJP State president and Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith MLAs- Rajiv Sharma and Krishan Lal Bhagat and Akhnoor District Prabhari Bansi Lal Bharti, chaired a meeting at Akhnoor of BJP Membership District Incharge, Mandal incharges and others to review the ongoing membership drive.
While addressing the party activists assigned the responsibilities at different levels to reach maximum people and enroll them as party members, the MP said that they will have to put more efforts and devote more time for next few days to achieve the target set for the district. He also congratulated them for formation of Government in the State and assured that the PDP-BJP coalition will work for equitable development of all the three regions
He also assured the people of Akhnoor that as their representative to Parliament, he will take up the problems of the entire constituency on priority and work whole heartedly to mitigate the same.
The BJP local leaders including Mohan Singh, Jai Singh, Bawa Parshotam, Ghaseeta Singh, Joginder besides presidents of Yuva, Kissan, SC & ST and Mahila Morcha attended meeting.
Later, Mr Sharma addressed a public meeting at Sector 2, Anuradhapuram Barnai and announced a transformer for the area. He released Rs six lakh from his CDF for the same. He was accompanied by district general secretary, Akhnoor Omi Khajuria.
