MP distributes stipend

JAMMU, Feb 15: Socio Economic Women Development Society, Karan Nagar Jammu today distributed stipend among the 30 beneficiaries those who have completed the skilled training programme free of cost on Handicraft and Handloom Sector which is running at Balika Niketan Ashram Amphalla and Talli Morh, here.
A function in this connection was organized by Mrs Mitu Rajput general secretary of the Society in which M P Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest and Ashok Koul general secretary (Org) BJP was the guest of honour. Some representatives from JUDA and Balika Niketan also participated in the function.
This training was given by the Socio Economic Women Development Society, Karan Nagar Jammu. This programme was conducted under the supervision of Jammu Urban Development Authority (JUDA). Such type of Programmes are held for the woman so that they can earn their own living. The main motive of this training is to make unemployed women self dependent in the field of Handicraft and Handloom. The programme was anchored by Ms Pallvi Thakur, designer.
The Stipend Distribution Function was attended by ,Mrs Neha Bakshi Teacher,Ms Parveen Kour,Ms Pachi Manhas, Sunil Koul,Sarpanch Ikbal Chowhary and other Panchs.
