INDORE, Oct 16: A religious feast, organised in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, that lasted for 98 hours has been listed as a world record.
“The religious feast thrown by a social organisation, ‘Dama Swans Nishulk Upchar Sansthan’ started on October 11 at 3.30 PM and ended on October 15 at 5.30 PM at Mhow tehsil,” Golden Book of World Records (GBWR) South-East Asia Head Manish Vishnoi told PTI today.
This event has been recognised by GBWR as the “longest lasting feast” and its organisers have been handed over the world record certificate, he said.
Around 2,30,000 people ate Indian dishes at the event organised on the occasion of Dussehra, Vishnoi added. (PTI)
